Christophe Saintillan

Deputy Director General, Vinci Autoroutes

 

 

Christophe Saintillan, born in 1973, is a former student of the Ecole Polytechnique and a road engineer. He began his career as head of the “water and major infrastructures” department at the Indre-et-Loire departmental equipment directorate (1999-2003) before joining the roads directorate at the Ministry of Equipment as head of the “programming and plan contracts” office. 

Technical advisor in charge of roads and then cabinet director for Dominique Perben, Minister of Transport, Equipment, Tourism and the Sea (2005-2007), he was successively assistant to the director of rail and public transport (2007-2008), assistant to the general director of infrastructure, transport and the sea (2008-2010) and finally director of transport infrastructure at the general directorate of infrastructure, transport and the sea (2010-2016).

From May 2016 to October 2020, Christophe Saintillan was deputy director general of services at the Ile-de-France regional council, in charge of housing and transport. Since 2 November 2020, he has been Deputy Managing Director of ASF in charge of development, and on 1 January 2021, Deputy Managing Director of VINCI Autoroutes in charge of IT systems and tolls.
